It's way more basic than the microwave that I had. There is no defrost cycle. Was easy to set the clock & it's easy to reheat items. It's small but it does the trick. Seems to heat up stuff faster than my last microwave.

The font on the letters to see what settings to push are tiny and difficult to read even with glasses. It would be helpful if the outside could light up to be able to see better.

My previous microwave was a GE which I had for a very long time. Unfortunately I could not find the same size. The size similar to what I had is too big for the space I have. I had to settle for a smaller one. My previous microwave was a nice size with no turntable, so I could use round as well as square dishes. Now they all have turntables which reduces inside space and no option to turn it off. My GE Profile above the stove does have that option, but the counter top one with that option, was only 12" deep, not much room for any type of dish.

i hardly ever cook anything on the stove (except pasta) or in the oven. if it can't be microwaved, i don't eat it. this microwave is big enough to hold relatively large bowls without taking up the whole counter (and i have a VERY small kitchen. it cooks well. my only fusses are that i have to press the buttons fairly hard for them to register, just tapping won't do it, and it tends to slide around a little on the counter if i don't hold it when i press the door latch.

This microwave does not have much power. It takes 1.5 - 2 minutes to warm up a bowl of oatmeal from the fridge. My previous microwave did this job in 30 seconds.

We purchased this model because we wanted a slightly smaller microwave so recover some counter space. This work much like our previous microwave (different manufacturer) and saved us some space.
The only con is we like microwaves with a pull handle instead of a button. On previous models when you press the button to open the door, the entire microwave shifts because it is not heavy enough. Also this model is slightly noisier than others.
